2017 Parking Information: Free Auditorium Shores Bus Shuttle Runs on Saturday and Sunday Only; No Shuttle Bus on Friday

Because parking in the downtown area is limited, we encourage you to plan your parking strategy carefully for the 2017 Austin Reggae Festival. Also, remember to check what you can and can’t bring to the event before starting your journey.

Ride-sharing services like RideAustin, Fasten and Fare are a great way to attend the event without having to worry about finding a spot for your vehicle. Or why not just carpool to the event with a group of your friends?

As for parking . . .on Saturday and Sunday only, use the paid high-rise parking lot at 4th and San Antonio (near Republic Square), then take the free Austin Reggae Festival shuttle bus to the event. For 2017, the shuttle pick-up location has moved to the 500 block of West 4th Street, just across from Mellow Johnny’s. Again, there is a fee to park in the lot at 4th and San Antonio — but the shuttle bus to Auditorium Shores is FREE.

Or better yet, ride your bike. We will plenty of racks where you can lock your bicycle while you are enjoying the show. You can also zip over to the event from one of the many Austin B-Cycle stations around the city.

Also use the Capital Metro trip planner to get to the event from wherever you are in Austin.

You might also park north and ride the new Capital MetroRail downtown. The Capital MetroRail runs until midnight on Friday and begins service at 4:00 pm on Saturday. The Capital MetroRail does NOT operate on Sunday.

For paid parking lots within a three-block walk of Auditorium Shores, consider:
